Comprehensive list of tasks in a move-in/move-out cleaning

So, you need to do a move-in/move-out cleaning but not sure what exactly that entails.

Well, we created a comprehensive list of tasks that we do in a move-in/move-out cleaning. Hope this helps.

1. Doors washed from both sides
2. Porch Swept and Washed
3. Walls, floors, ledges wiped
4. Cobwebs removed up to 12 feet
5. Vent Covers washed
6. All work surfaces washed and polished
7. All drawers and cabinets cleaned inside and out
8. Sink taps cleaned and polished
9. Back Splash tile degreased, and cleaned
10. Oven cleaned inside and outside
11. Grime from extractor fan cleaned and removed
12. Refrigerator cleaned, defrosted and all surfaces cleaned and sanitized
13. Dishwasher cleaned
14. Microwave cleaned inside and outside
15. Countertops cleaned, disinfected, and shined
16. Ceiling fans wiped (height restriction may apply)
17. Lighting fixtures, wall plates, and light switches wiped
18. Bathroom door/fittings washed and sanitized
19. Bathroom woodwork washed and sanitized
20. Tiled areas degreased, cleaned
21. Bath tub area cleaned, fittings cleaned and sink cleaned
22. The shower area, door, and fittings cleaned
23. Toilet cleaned and sanitized
24. All mirrors were cleaned and shined
25. All carpeted areas vacuumed
26.  All hard floors scrubbed & washed
27. All baseboards cleaned
28. All window ledges dusted and damp wiped
29. Window sills and frames cleaned when accessible
30. Entry doors washed from both sides
31. Staircase handrails cleaned
32. All walls spot cleaned – removing finger marks
33. All window shades/blinds dusted (cleaned on the inside)
34. All furniture and surfaces cleaned and polished
35. Trash removed
36. And everything you want to add that’s not on the list.
